The LulzSec Saga Empty The LulzSec Saga

Post  Jackelsano Thu Jun 23, 2011 10:02 am

Remember when the Sony PSN went down due to hackers? LulzSec claims it was them who hacked it. And no doubt they did.

I made this topic to track the news on those 10-year old, cave dwelling, loner kids that hack for fun. LulzSec has hit hard recently hacking multiple targets over a span of just 3 days.

-Bethesda Studios, Brink accounts, and The Elder Scrolls
-American CIA website and Brazilian government computer networks.
-SEGA has recently been hit
-And multiple Australian home-businesses and franchises.

The UK claims having to catch the leader, 19-year old Ryan Cleary. LulzSec responded to this on their Twitter page.

"Seems the glorious leader of LulzSec got arrested, it's all over now... wait... we're all still here! Which poor bastard did they take down?"

LulzSec, having children as hackers does have a downfall. They have the same psychology as children, so of course they will try to tell us that he isn't in anyway involved, also they brag about targets that they have hacked for attention. LulzSec works as a mirror to illegal files and documents, they first target a site, hack it and then shortly after post the contents to The Pirate Bay, a torrent site. LulzSec has a series of hacker bots and IRC's, scripts and IP's that have been pre-programmed to do the work for them.

I was looking on the EvE Online forums the other day, and some of the players had something to say about LulzSec, funny comment I might add. "As soon as they realise that they aren't 18 years old anymore, they'll squeal like stuck pigs."

Moments after Ryan Cleary was caught by the UK police in Scotland Yard, LulzSec also posted that they will be "increasing efforts" to hack into official, federal websites and government networks and sharing confidential documents for revenge on their page at The Pirate Bay". Not to mention that they have now teamed up with a rival group call Anonymous and begun to increase in activity.

They just rolled themselves, first of all they say they are not afraid of Ryan getting caught, but they act on revenge for the captured 19-year old.

Also just recently another hacker group that goes by the name of TeaMp0ison claims they have hacked and brought down LulzSec and Anonymous in one fell swoop. Don't know about you lads but this is either a cover-up after Ryan Cleary got captured by UK cops or a takeover so TeaMp0ison can do a better job. You can get access to the mirror site about their recent victory here... TeaMp0ison claims LulzSec are a bunch of jokers that don't know how to hack the right way (if there is a right way) and they betray the "anti-sec movement" TeaMp0ison also stated that they will be releasing information about those that are with LulzSec and LulzBoat, such as whereabouts, age, locales, pictures and IP addresses.

Seems this was over before it began, but there remains but just one question. Will TeaMp0ison take over LulzSec's role and continue hacking government sites? Or was this just a small civil war amongst the anti-sec hacking groups? Stay tuned Legionnaires there is yet more to come.
